    Lorin Anderson

    Lorin Anderson spent 17-years as an editor at the world’s largest golf publications before launching Lorin Anderson Consulting in Stamford, Connecticut in 2005.

    Before starting his own firm, Lorin was the Managing Editor for GOLF Magazine's Instructional Division. He joined GOLF Magazine in 1994 after six years covering the golf equipment beat for Golf Digest, Golf World and Golf Shop Operations magazines. As Managing Editor he was charged with coordinating the editorial, public relations and marketing of all of GOLF Magazine’s instruction-related editorial franchises including GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers, GOLF Magazine’s Top 25 Golf Schools and the World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame.


    Anderson has written more than 20 cover stories for GOLF and has authored articles with Jack Nicklaus, Curtis Strange, Payne Stewart, Hal Sutton, Annika Sorenstam and many other touring professionals and dozens of the world’s top teaching professionals including Mike Bender, Jim Flick, Jim McLean, Dave Pelz, Craig Shankland, Rick Smith and Dr. Jim Suttie. He also co-authored GOLF Magazine’s Complete Book of Golf Instruction and was the executive producer for GOLF Magazine Top 100 Teachers: More Series of DVDs.

    In recent years, Anderson took on an increased role as the magazine’s lead golf industry analyst handling more than 60 television appearances covering golf equipment, golf instruction and the professional tours on CBS, NBC, CNN, ESPN, ESPN2, Fine Living Network, The Golf Channel and MSNBC.

    Jim Cochran

    Jim received both his law and master of business administration degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1984. He was one of only two students from his entering class to pursue and complete the University's joint degree program. In 1985, Jim began his career practicing law with Clark, Thomas & Winters, the largest law firm in Austin, Texas. He focused his practice primarily in the areas of banking, real estate and corporate law, and represented some of the leading financial institutions in the Southwest.

    In 2002, Jim formed ClearLeverage, L.P., which focuses its executive search expertise in placing marketing and business development professional with the AMLAW 200 law firms. Since that time, ClearLeverage has placed Chief Marketing Officers, Client Service and Development Directors and Business Development Managers in leading law firms across the country. Combining his extensive experience in both law and business, Jim is recognized as a leader in recruiting business development executives to the legal services industry.

    Jim is also a senior consultant to The WJF Institute located in Austin, Texas. Since 1994, he has worked with the Institute in training both partners and associates of some of the world's largest law firms in client development, relationship management and client-focused quality throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Currently, Jim is a lead instructor for the Institute's primary client development program, and also consults with practice groups and client teams in developing plans to increase revenue and client satisfaction.

    Bobby Foster
    Owner/President, Mental Golf Workshop, LLC

    Bobby Foster is a management consultant headquartered in Columbia, SC. Bobby is a former teaching professional and golf coach at the University of South Carolina where he coached several All-Americans including four players who played on The PGA Tour. He is a Certified Behavioral Analyst specializing in the DISC Behavioral Style Model.

    Claude Harmon III

    Claude Harmon is in the vanguard of the new generation of golf teachers. Steeped in tradition both his grandfather, Claude Harmon, and father Claude "Butch" Harmon Jr., have been the dominant teachers of their generation.  Claude’s family pedigree is important and he has used that foundation to build his reputation in the golf business. Claude’s teaching philosophy and methods have delivered lower scores and better, more repeatable swings for, seasoned tour players, celebrities, and amateurs of all abilities.

    Since graduating from university, Claude plied his trade and learnt his craft around the world including residency in Scotland, Portugal, and various locations across the United States. Committing himself to the European Tour between 2002 and 2006, Claude worked successfully with players such as Trevor Immelman, Darren Clarke, Adam Scott, Bradley Dredge, and Graeme McDowell.

    Golf Academies have played a big role in Claude’s career.  He was involved in the design and development of golf schools in Las Vegas, Portugal, Bahamas and Scotland. Claude’s responsibilities included recruitment, training, program and product development, marketing, and teaching.

    Beyond individual instruction Claude is heavily involved in corporate golf school packages and he has worked with, Buick, Bentley, and Ericsson across the world.  Off the course Claude has done a great deal of media work including, television, magazines, radio, and press. He has been involved in the production of several instructional videos and founding faculty of the Internet Golf Academy.

    Kirk Leavell
    Owner, Wild Basin Fitness


    Wild Basin Fitness is Kirk's dream come true. He has had a love of sports and competition all of his life and grew-up participating in every athletic event he could manage. Kirk succeeded in five different sports in high school and went on to play baseball and win a national championship in track and field at the collegiate level. He majored in Kinesiology at Blinn College and Sam Houston State University and feels the combination of an education and a lifetime of personal experience has allowed him to reach a professional level of understanding of how exercise and healthy eating can positively affect the body. Kirk's dream of owning his own fitness facility has come true because his clients have had such remarkable success in obtaining their goals under his direction. (Westlake and Steiner Ranch)
