    Mark,

Through the end of 2006, the most popular driver with my clientel was the Titleist 905r driver. In fact, it's still the most popular driver far exceeding the current offering of the Titleist 907 D2.  The 907 is a good driver, but my research and fitting experience shows that I still can't beat the old 905r.

In 2007, the best driver for my clientel has been the Taylor Made TP Burner.  My clientel is mostly players with a 10 handicap or below.  The TP Burner has been so good, and this is coming from a Titleist guy, that it almost doesn't matter what shaft the player uses.  As long as they have the right loft, the driver can beat a properly fit driver.  It's long, straight, and sounds really good.
